The Keoni Grace Foundation is a U.S.-based nonprofit organization committed to empowering underprivileged children and mothers in Uganda through education, shelter, and life-enriching programs. Originally established as Oasis of Joy in Kampala, Uganda, the foundation was reimagined and renamed in 2025 under the leadership of Keoni Carew, a visionary entrepreneur and youth advocate.
Planting seeds, harvesting futures of greatness.
To empower underprivileged children and mothers in Uganda through education, shelter, and sustainable living.
With a heart for service and a deep belief in global connection, Keoni founded the organization to create long term solutions for vulnerable families living in poverty. The foundation operates both as a school and a partial orphanage, providing daily meals, access to quality education, spiritual encouragement, and a safe place to grow.
As we expand, Keoni Grace Foundation also partners with organizations like The Art of Elysium, based in Los Angeles, to offer creative education and essential life skills for women and children. Additionally, our long term vision includes a pathway for our students to graduate into the Afriyea Golf Academy in Fort Portal, Uganda, introducing golf as a vehicle for discipline, character development, and opportunity.
We believe every child deserves dignity, direction, and a future filled with possibility. Through love, structure, and sustainable programs, Keoni Grace Foundation is planting the seeds for generational transformation—one child, one mother, one village at a time.

Born in 1974, Bishop Baraka Ephraim is married to Reverend Zawadi Mariam, and together they are blessed with six children—two daughters and four sons. He is the founder of Royal Family Fellowship International and established Oasis of Joy Nursery & Primary School in 2018. Following a tragic car accident that claimed the lives of two church members and left behind seven orphaned children, Bishop Baraka and his wife were moved to action. Out of this moment of grief and compassion, they founded the Oasis of Joy Orphanage. What began with seven children has grown to care for 101 orphans within the center and support 343 children placed in local families. The foundation provides food and education, with daily care costs at $1 per child and schooling at $200 per academic year. Bishop Baraka remains devoted to serving vulnerable children and families in Uganda.
